Eating healthy not only helps your body to stay at an optimum weight, but it also improves your mood. With a better mood, you will be able to cope with the quarantine situation. There might not be a lot of groceries at your home at such times. So, we thought of sharing recipes with limited ingredients. Here are some recipes with five or fewer ingredients.

Cut boneless chicken in strips. Put taco seasoning on the strips. Then cut onions and capsicum in strips. Put all the ingredients in a baking tray. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes. When the chicken is tender, it will be ready. You can add cheese to it or savour it with tortillas and salsa. If you don’t have taco seasoning, use soy sauce, salt, and pepper to flavour the chicken.

Keto-Friendly BLT Sushi

Make a woven sheet of bacon strips on a baking tray. Bake in the oven until crisp. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bacon. Then chop tomatoes, avocado and lettuce. Put them on top of the mayo. Make a roll of the bacon like sushi. Cut in smaller pieces. You can try other veggies too in this roll. Try adding a mixture of capsicum, cheese and potatoes.

Garlic Butter Potatoes

Make a mixture of melted butter, olive oil, and garlic in a bowl. Take potatoes and make slits in them without cutting all the way through. Brush them with the butter mixture. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Bake in the oven at 375°F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle shredded cheese and bake for another 20 minutes. When the potato slices are crisp, take them out. Eat them with sour cream if you want.

Five Ingredient Egg Cups

Beat six eggs with half cup of cheddar cheese. Add salt and pepper. Put chopped cooked broccoli in a muffin tray. Pour the egg mixture in each cup till two-third. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes. You can try making it with more veggies too, such as capsicum, onions, and tomatoes. Add bits of deli meat or bacon for added flavour.

Healthy 3 Ingredient Cookies

Mash 3 large ripe bananas in a bowl. Then add about 300 gms of quick-cook rolled oats. Add 1/4th cup chocolate chips. You can also replace chocolate chips with raisins or dried berries. Mix the ingredients and make a soft dough. Make small balls of the dough and put them on a baking tray. Bake in the oven at 390°F for 12-15 minutes. Put them in an airtight jar and enjoy with milk.
